Our premium card stock and limited run themed cards are used by professional and novice sketch card artists all over the world. If you aren't familiar with us yet and have some questions, here are some of the answers to some of the most frequent ones we're asked.
1. Why is your card stock so awesome?
There is a reason that the artists who try Artists Unite card stock never look back. Our cards are professionally manufactured using a super smooth triple layered card stock giving you the highest quality canvas that your pencils, pens, markers or paints have ever touched. Unlike most traditional or homemade stock, our cards won't bleed through (which is a pretty big deal). Our cards are cut by some fancy space age grade trimming knives at a professional printing company in the USA, ensuring they have a razor clean edge without burring or tearing. Why would you even want to use anything else?
2. Why can't I just make my own card stock?
Well, you could... but it simply wouldn't compare to the professional triple layered and gorgeous smooth card stock that we offer. We aren't knocking homemade card stock but it's not as easy as you'd think to get a perfectly trimmed, non burred edge and a perfect lamination that won't bleed through. Plus, you wouldn't have access to our epic full color themed limited run cards. Why spend the time fighting with a craft project when you could be drawing or painting something incredible on our A+ card stock?
3. Will paint / pen / markers bleed through?
No way! Our triple layered card stock is designed to resist bleed through from most common art supplies. That magical black layer sandwiched in the middle (we call it the reverse Oreo) ensures your art stays where you want it to, on the front surface of the card.
4. How long does it take to ship my order?
All in-stock items ship out within 3 business days. We use Canada Post / USPS to deliver the vast majority of our orders. The shipping time varies depending on your location in the world and the shipping service you select at checkout. In general most orders within the USA arrive within 7-10 business days, most orders in Canada arrive in 3-7 business days. International orders (outside of the USA or Canada) can take up to 4 weeks to arrive via your local mail service. When possible we will use tracked services so you can stay up to date on the progress and ETA of your order.
5. Do you offer free shipping?
You bet! If your over is over $75 USD ($105 CAD) it ships for free if you are in the USA or Canada. We do not have free international shipping unfortunately.
6. Is there anywhere where sketch card artists can share their art or learn more about the medium?
We thought you'd never ask. We have a Facebook group of dedicated sketch card artists who've "united" together to share their passion. Click here to check it out and be sure to hit that "Join" button.
7. Will Artists Unite be offering different card designs or sizes in the future?
YES! There are many different and amazing themes that will be coming down the pipeline in time, including new seasonal designs for Halloween and Christmas. We are also currently in the process of creating some different sized sketch card options as well to keep everyone inspired to create!
